At Ark Veterinary Clinic, we realise how important your pet is. We treat each animal as if it were our own and promise to offer professionally advanced and compassionate treatment to all our patients.

We invest heavily in equipment and training to ensure that we can make your pet better. All our staff are required to regularly update their skills. Two of our vets, Aidan Miller and James Dunne, have earned Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Postgraduate Certification in Small Animal Medicine and Small Animal Surgery respectively. We are the only practice in Connaught with two RCVS Certificate holders in small animal disciplines working under the same roof.

Our Practice: A Little Bit of History

Ark Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1976 by David Fitzgerald and Seamus McManus. The practice treats all species of animals, including cattle, sheep, horses, pigs and domestic pets. The vets are all fully qualified and highly experienced (between the five of us we have over 110 years of experience!) and put your animal’s welfare first – every time.
